Established in 1985, NBRO’s Air Quality Studies Unit delivers air quality research, monitoring, consultancy, and training services in Sri Lanka.
Who We Are
A team of experts specialized in various disciplines in the sector engages in research, consultancy, and technical advisory services in the areas of air quality monitoring, assessment, planning, and management.
The unit is further strengthened to address issues related to disaster risk reduction, mitigation, and associated responsibilities.
Laboratory Capacity
The unit is supported by a fully equipped laboratory to undertake analysis of a wide range of air quality and environmental parameters in accordance with national and international standards and guidelines.
